Bring a pattern, inspiration image or work in progress. During a 30-minute virtual call, Hilary will help you understand the project, choose suitable materials and map out a realistic lesson plan before you invest in appointments. You’ll leave knowing what to buy, what to bring and what you can realistically accomplish together.

Choose Learn to Quilt for a one-lesson introduction. Choose Quilting Foundations when you want structured, ongoing instruction. Pick a Project when you’re motivated by a specific make. Bring an Idea when you already have a quilt or pattern in mind.
Do I need quilting or sewing experience?
No. You can begin without any quilting or sewing experience. Hilary will adapt the instruction to your pace, and you will use Heyday’s sewing machine and studio tools during your lesson.
What is included in a quilt project?
Each guided project includes its planned private appointments, pattern and use of the studio machine and tools. Your project page will explain which fabric and additional supplies you need to purchase.
What happens after I finish the quilt top?
Hilary will help you choose how to quilt and bind your finished top based on your project, budget and how hands-on you want to be. Additional appointments can be booked if you would like help with the finishing steps.
